Megan and Ryan’s second child was in a big hurry to join his family, arriving at just 32.3 weeks!
Meet Beau.
With the weather being so unpredictable last month, we postponed the initial date for this Outdoor Newborn session, only to be met with grey skies threatening rain on the eve of our second planned date. It definitely wasn’t the warm weather we’d hoped for! Fortunately, I have extremely resilient clients and with a gorgeous new baby boy snuggled under a myriad of wraps, we forged on. I’ve photographed each of these gorgeous children as newborns and it’s an absolute pleasure every time.
Welcome to the world, Oscar. You’ve chosen a beautiful family.
When clients book their newborn sessions, we use their due date as a guide and expect they’ll arrive up to a few weeks early or a couple of weeks late. The window is huge. Occasionally, some newborns will take it one step further, like this little guy, arriving 7 weeks before his due date. After a stint in Special Care, I finally got to meet this little legend and his beautiful parents.
This is Archie.
When baby Deni was brought into the studio, her parents also brought along a pair of antlers which they were hoping to incorporate into the shoot. I have to admit, this was a first for me! It’s been a while since I shot with statement props but it’s always fun when clients bring something in that’s personal to them.
Here’s a few images from her session and if you scroll right to the bottom you’ll see the antlers in use 🙂
As a mum, I always feel like my heart might explode when I see my two daughters being super loving towards each other, so I totally get it when clients get super gooey over how adorable their eldest is as they dote on their new sibling. That feeling of infinite love for your children is just so magical.
Eadie was absolutely gorgeous with her new brother, Max. So proud and loving, and no doubt giving her parents heart explosions of their own.
